| St. Peter's Catholic Church |
| This gothic Revival style church with its gable roof, soaring tower and pointed windows was built in 1927. The first St. Peter's Church was built in 1881 on Virginia Avenue, directly west of the railroad tracts to Crested Butte. The church was moved to this site in 1908 because Reverend William Kipp believed the church was located "on the wrong side of the tracts." Harry Ender purchased and moved the old church to Taylor Street. |
